The aggregate figure of $195 billion commands attention, but it demands scrutiny in equal measure. Investment pledges of this magnitude, announced at government-adjacent events, frequently encompass multi-decade timelines, include spending already underway, and are subject to revision as market conditions shift. The SK Group figure alone \u2014 $91.5 billion for AI data centres in Ulsan \u2014 would be extraordinary if delivered in full and on schedule.
