Taiwan’s President Lai Ching-te<\/strong> declared his country indispensable to the global artificial intelligence supply chain on Tuesday, using the opening of Computex Taipei<\/strong> to court international investment and signal political stability across the Taiwan Strait.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Speaking before an audience that included executives from Nvidia<\/strong>, Qualcomm<\/strong>, and Intel<\/strong>, Lai framed Taiwan’s role not merely as a semiconductor manufacturer, but as a foundational partner in the next phase of AI development.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Computex 2025, running through Friday under the theme “AI Together,”<\/strong> spans more than 6,000 booths<\/strong> from 1,500 exhibitors<\/strong> across 33 countries<\/strong>.
