Her return to a Singapore stage marks her first local musical lead since 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Legally Blonde musical to open July 29 in Singapore<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>SRT\u2019s production follows Elle Woods, a sorority student who enrols at Harvard Law School after a breakup and ultimately challenges perceptions about her intelligence and capability. The musical was first staged on Broadway in 2007 and later mounted in the West End.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SRT has not announced the full cast list in the details released so far, but said the production will bring the story to local audiences as part of its upcoming season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">West End credits and Singapore return<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ong has performed in London\u2019s theatre scene in recent years, including as \u00c9ponine in <em>Les Mis\u00e9rables<\/em> at the Sondheim Theatre from 2022 to 2023.
